We're an intermediate-to-advanced level band, with some easily manageable music and some more challenging to increase our level of musicianship. High school experience or equivalent is helpful but not required.
Try us out for a couple of weeks to see if you feel comfortable with the level of music. Don't worry if you're a bit rusty - it will come back with practice! And we're willing to help.
Our affordable annual membership fee helps cover the cost of music, insurance, and an honorarium for our conductor . The fee is reduced for students and may be reduced in special circumstances with a word to the executive.
We rehearse Thursday evenings from 7:30 to 9:30 in the band room at Cowichan Secondary School on James Street.
